I had the pleasure of designing and laying out Tokiosta Tapiolaan Exhibition Publication, a book born from the collaborative community curation of Museo Leikki and a dedicated network of hobbyists. This unique publication gives voice to Finnish enthusiasts of Japanese culture, weaving together hundreds of perspectives, memories, and experiences. Inside, you’ll find heartfelt quotes from fans, photographs of collectibles and memorabilia, snapshots of convention culture, and much more – including my own photography created specifically for the book. From lolita fashion lovers to vocaloid fans, from devoted anime viewers to passionate cosplayers – the book celebrates the vibrant and diverse fandom in Finland. More than just a publication, it’s a tribute to the way Japanese pop culture is not only embraced here but reimagined, lived, and made our own.

"From Tokyo to Tapiola" Marketing Collateral
I designed print-ready materials for Museum Leikki's From Tokyo to Tapiola exhibition, including the poster, flyers, brochures, exhibition graphics, and social media content. All visual assets were exclusively created by me from scratch.
"From Tokyo to Tapiola" Exhibition Design
I developed the visual and graphic design for the From Tokyo to Tapiola exhibition, including marketing materials. I designed the exhibition architecture, poster, flyers, brochures, exhibition graphics, and social media materials. I also designed a custom mascot, Kiko, to enhance exhibition communication. Additionally, I designed four interactive play stations with custom props. I was also responsible for the design and procurement of products for the museum shop.
Aibidia | Annual Research Report Design
I had the pleasure of designing and producing Aibidia’s annual primary research report, creating a polished publication for both print and digital use. My responsibilities included editorial design, layout and typography, integrating research data, charts and tables, US English proofreading, coordinating content revisions, and preparing the final files for professional print production. I also delivered a separate digital version tailored for online distribution. The project combined visual communication, meticulous attention to detail, and print production expertise to turn complex research content into a clear, cohesive, and professional publication.
Kaikujat 3 - Book Illustration
I created the illustrations and character designs for the new children’s and young adult sci-fi book series Kaikujat 3 – Pelättyjen paluu.
